Unit summary
To introduce candidates to their responsibilities to others, including their role in the development of the sport. The unit provides the knowledge that will underpin the coaches’ practical activities, with particular emphasis on ethical and effective communication with the participants they coach and other organisations impacting on their work. This unit can be studied and assessed in the context of either coarse, sea or game angling.
