Learning Outcome Assessment Criteria
1. erect and dismantle basic cantilever scaffolds 1.1 use and maintain hand tools, ancillary equipment and access equipment
1.2 identify and confirm the area in which to erect the cantilever scaffold
1.3 confirm the stability of foundation/structure on which the scaffold will be erected and secured
1.4 confirm the materials and component makeup, including: tube and fitting, systems scaffold
1.5 set out and prepare for the scaffold structure
1.6 erect and secure the scaffold in accordance with techniques and practices for cantilevered scaffold structure incorporating access for erection or use of other occupations
1.7 dismantle and remove cantilever scaffold structure
1.8 check and test the fall arrest equipment for security, safety and operational movement
1.9 complete the work within the allocated time, in accordance with the programme of work
