Unit summary
The purpose of this unit is to ensure that learners develop and demonstrate an understanding of health, safety and security issues within a warehousing and storage environment.
This units aims to provide learners with a clear understanding of how to access and apply relevant legislation in a warehousing environment including specific legal requirements for the storage and distribution of goods and materials.
Learners will also understand how risk in the workplace affects roles and responsibilities, how to respond to incidents at work and the role of personal protective equipment within a warehousing and storage environment.
