The qualification aims to impart and develop a range of skills that enables the learner to take up work in the Creative Industries. Through a thorough understanding of the skills needed in design, innovation and best practice, both in business and in the crafts, the candidate will be able to demonstrate the essential links which combine to create excellence in the designer maker.

Learners may progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Creative Techniques or City & Guilds Level 4 in Creative Arts.

The learner must complete the two mandatory units from group A and two optional units from group B in order to achieve the full Certificate. The total credit value of this Certificate is 30.
